Philosophy:
My drive to pursue fitness industry started when I was around 15 years old!
As most of us when we were younger; we strived to be different. I found bodybuilding to be unique in the sense of the lifestyle and the commitment that it takes to make lasting progress. For years, I loved just doing my own thing in the gym and for a bit it worked!
But muscle imbalances, inconsistencies in my exercise program and allowing myself to become deconditioned in certain areas was a recipe for disaster.
When I was 26 I experienced a lower back tear while doing an overhead press. Lack of knowledge and not knowing how to tackle this issue; weight gain happened and I found myself sitting at 220 lbs. I found myself in the situation of being overweight and unable to put my own shoes on without being in pain. Being down and out wasn’t an option; that’s when I decided take exercise a bit more seriously and started researching on how to fix myself.
That got the ball rolling and the more I made progress and learned; the more I couldn’t stay away from the gym. It only made sense for me to turn this passion into a career so I obtained my Personal Training Certification and here I am!
I love calisthenics and weight lifting and you’ll probably see me hanging upside quite a bit!
